Bring your dirt! September 9 in Wellsville, September 23 in Alfred

From CCE of Allegany County,

Bring your soil for a FREE pH test!

Your garden soil’s pH (level of acidity) determines how and whether your plants will be able to use the nutrients in that soil. Fall is the perfect time to test your soil!

Join our Master Gardener Volunteers from CCE Allegany County for our annual soil pH testing! Bring up to 2 dry soil samples.

If you want to bring 3 or more samples, it will have a small fee of $3 per sample after the second sample (first 2 samples are free). (How to take a soil sample? read how to do it going to Allegany.cce.cornell.edu in the section gardening, then clicking Soil health)
