BELMONT, NY — The month of August has been a whirlwind for Allegany County Democrats, with September shaping up to be more of the same.

The County Committee set up a booth at Amity Daze in Belmont, NY on Friday, August 11th.  On Tuesday the 22nd, members met with Democrats from Livingston County to share plans for voter outreach in the 2024 election.  On Thursday, August 24th, six committee members represented Allegany County Democrats at a gala event honoring Jamestown Mayor Eddie Sundquist and featuring The Honorable Gov. Kathy Hochul.  And on Saturday, August 26th, members met with peers from Genesee and Wayne counties to expand our relationships even further.

“We are deeply committed to community service and outreach,” said committee Vice Chair Martha Sabato, “and recognize that our efforts have a positive impact far beyond our county line.”

Looking ahead to September, the Allegany County Democrats will hold a summer fundraiser, host an information booth at a fall festival, and present a “Meet the Candidates” event in Wellsville.
