Walmart will never pay you $700 to buy gift cards
The Wellsville N.Y. Police Department would like to warn everyone about a scam that was sent to a local resident via Priority Mail (USPS). Attached are images of the letter and check that was sent requesting the person to purchase Vanilla Gift cards at a local or nearby Walmart. Anytime a check is sent to you asking for gift cards to be purchased and keep a small portion of the check for yourself, IT IS A SCAM!
