New York State Police report three local arrests

A Livingston County woman and an Allegany County man both have been arrested for felony grand larceny and auto stripping. Typically, automobiles are “stripped” by removing valuable parts such as catalytic converters.
Melissa Gordon, 42, or Dalton NY and Todd Howard, 35, of Bolivar NY were both arrested on felony Grand Larceny in the third degree and misdemeanor Auto Stripping in the third degree. Howard was charged with an additional felony charge of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in excess of $3000.
No bail information was provided.
State troopers report arresting a juvenile from Friendship NY on felony weapons charges after an incident in the Town of Amity. The arrest took place in the town of Hume for felony Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree and felony Willful Defacement of Weapon. The fourteen year old was released with an appearance ticket.
