Diamond Dawgs take 1st place in Chadwick Bay

14U team avenges a loss to bring home gold

From the Dawgs fans:

The girls played 3 pool play games on Saturday going 2-1, the only loss was to the Nitros 3-2.  For Sunday they were seeded 4th in the gold bracket. 

The Dawgs played against Southern Tier Lightning pitched by Emily Stuck.  They won that game 9-2, then played against Lakeshore Storm in the semi final game pitched by Brynn Hallock and they won that game 8-0.

Then faced with the Nitros again in the finals, the Dawgs dominated.  A commanding win, 6-0 pitched by Kennedy Perry and Brynn Hallock who finished up the last 2 innings.

The Dawgs earned 1st place winning the gold bracket for the Chadwick Bay Tournament.
