“The rally was 100% successful”
So that’s a wrap, the 46th annual Great Wellsville Balloon Rally is in the books and was very successful. We have put the store and it’s merchandise away and Island Park is back to normal. We sold out of just about everything.
So a little bit of a riddle for you: Where is 50% equal to 100%. Answer: The 46th annual Great Wellsville Balloon Rally that went 2 for 4 with launches. Even though that’s 50% I believe that the Rally was 100% successful. That is due to all of the support from the community, sponsors, EMS, Fire Department, Police, Vendors and the great committee people that have planned this event over the last seven months. I also want to thank the pilots and crew that come to our rally every year.
The Rally Committee will take a 6 month break and start planning for #47 in late January 2024.
