Shriners meet in Shinglehouse, donate big to children’s hospital

Peyton Carlin was the honored guest at the annual gathering

From the Allegany County Shriners,

The Allegany County Shrine Club and Kart Corp met in Shinglehouse American Legion for our Annual Steak Bake last Thursday.

Howard “Scuff” Simon introduced our honored guest.  Jamie Lynn Glenn, Robert Black and their son Peyton Carlin.  Jamie Lynn gave a heartfelt report on Peyton’s progress at the Shrine Hospital in Erie PA. She thanked the Shriners for all they do.  She was extremely happy with their experience and was optimistic about Peyton’s future endeavors. Standing with the Peyton family is Vice President Larry Bunk, James Erwin and Potentate Ron Bigger

Below: Larry Bunk (Vice President – Friendship), James Erwin (Club Treasurer – Cuba) and Joe Budinger (Kart Corp Treasurer – Caneadea) presented the Potentate Ron Bigger (Buffalo) with two checks.  The Kart Corp. donated $5,000. The Allegany County Shrine Club donated $10,000 for a total of $15,000 going to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, specifically the burn and orthopedic center located in Erie Pennsylvania.
