Officers arrest man after terroristic threats, Fronczak back in jail

Monday June 26, 2023

Wellsville Police arrested Jarrette R. LaFlash, age 38 of Wellsville, charging him with Burglary 3rd (Class D Felony), Criminal Mischief 3rd (Class E Felony) and Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor). The charges stem from an incident that took place on North Main Street. LaFlash was processed and arraigned before Associate Village Justice Walsh. LaFlash was committed to the Allegany County jail without bail. LaFlash is due back in Wellsville Village Court on July 11th at 4:30 pm.

Wellsville Police arrested Daniel E. Fronczak, age 47 of Bolivar, charging him with a Violation of Probation. Fronczak was located on Clark Street and taken into custody. Fronczak was processed and arraigned before Town of Wellsville Justice Graves. Fronczak was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $1,000.00 cash bail or $2,000.00 property bond or $4,000.00 partially secured bond. Fronczak is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on July 18th at 4:30 pm. Wellsville Police were assisted by the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department.

Wellsville Police arrested Dan A. Middaugh, age 49 of Willing, charging him with Making a Terroristic Threat (Class D Felony) and three counts of Aggravated Harassment 2nd (Class A Misdemeanor). The charges stem from an incident that took place on North Main Street on June 17th. Middaugh was located at his residence by the New York State Police and taken into custody. Middaugh was transported to Wellsville, processed and arraigned before Associate Village Justice Walsh. Middaugh was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on July 18th at 4:30 pm.
