Ciarra Delill wins award for her “out of the box” art

The Fourth Annual Southern Tier Film Festival took place Thursday, June 8th at Fillmore Central School. Local students, teachers, and families came out to support student made films.
The top award, the Best in Show, was awarded to Whitesville Junior Holden Matteson for his documentary film “The Boy Who Dreams Infinity.” Matteson was awarded the STAFFY (Southern Tier Annual Film Festival Y) trophy which will reside in Whitesville until next year’s film festival.
The event’s organizers would like to thank David Bruce (University of Buffalo) and Sunshine Sullivan (Houghton College) who provided the inspiration for many of the films showcased at the event.

Art Design – Jacey Payne and Rayhan Sayeed: “Colors Passing Through Us” (Arkport)
