Wellsville Village Police arrest burglar, NY State Police make felony DWI arrest

All those arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court

Wellsville Police Blotter, Sunday June 4, 2023

Wellsville Police arrested David P. Metcalf, age 37 of Wellsville, charging him with Burglary 2nd (Class C Felony), Aggravated Family Offense (Class E Felony), Criminal Contempt 1st (Class E Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Possession of a Controlled Substance in its non-original container. The charges stem from an incident that took place on Seneca Street. Metcalf was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Metcalf was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000.00 cash bail, or $10,000.00 property bond or $20,000.00 partially secured bond. Metcalf is due back in Wellsville Village Court on June 20th at 4:30 pm.

NYS Police Blotter, Sunday June 4

NY State Police report the arrest of a Whitesville man for felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the town of Wellsville. Wyatt D. Foth, age 26, was also charged with felony Driving While Intoxicated. Foth had a prior DWI conviction within the last ten years and was reportedly held in custody after the arrest.
