The Richburg Rod & Gun Club recently held a trap shoot, chicken BBQ, basket raffle and quilt raffle to support the Hart Comfort House.  Shooters included youth from the area school trap clubs in New York and Pennsylvania.  This event is in memory of Linda Myers, who was a resident at the Comfort House in 2013.  Her husband Dave, was so pleased and impressed with the care given to Linda that he has held this event almost annually and we are honored that her family does this to raise funds for us.  Members of other Rod & Gun Clubs were in attendance and winners from the trap shoot donated their winnings to the Hart Comfort House.  It is the goodness and support of groups like this that allow the Hart Comfort House to continue its mission: to care for those who are the end of life’s journey.
