The Catholic Diocese of Buffalo Character Trait Awards for the months of March and April, awarded by Immaculate Conception School, were announced by Mary Ann Newark, Director of Religious Education at Immaculate Conception Parish & School.
The March trait of “Problem Solver” was awarded to 2nd grade student Fidel Hernandez and to 6th grader Robert Orton. Both boys were commended for their helpfulness to others in challenging situations.

The April trait of “Sacrifice” was awarded to 2nd grade student Kinsley Wittie, and 4th grader Briggs Faulkner. Newark notes that both of these students stood out among their peers in actions which demonstrated putting others above self, or making choices involving sacrifice.
