Main Street Clock restoration set to be finished this fall, fundraising has been successful

From the Wellsville Development Corporation:

Thank you to everyone who supported the Main Street Clock Restoration Project through the purchase of either a brick or granite paver.

Brick/granite paver sales have ended. Inscriptions have been sent to the mason assisting with the project. The sidewalk surrounding the clock will be torn up the second half of September. The new bricks/granite pavers will be installed, and the current bricks/granite pavers will be cleaned up. Once the brick/granite paver project is complete, the clock will receive a fresh coat of paint.

The Wellsville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Wellsville Development Corporation plan on holding a clock dedication ceremony this fall once the project is complete.

Additionally, did you know the clock once chimed? It did, and it will again thanks to a special family who will be recognized at the clock dedication ceremony.
