NYS Troopers arrest Pennsylvania residents for weapons, Erie county man for burglary

All those arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in court

Amity-based NYS Police arrested a City of Buffalo man for a August 2022 crime in the town of Willing. James Hartz, age 45, was charged with felony burglary with intent and two charges of felony criminal mischief in the second degree. Hartz was held after arrest for the three felony charges.

Two Pennsylvania residents with a criminal history were arrested in Portville on felony weapons charges. Thomas Lamb of Shinglehouse, PA was charged with criminal possession of a weapon by a person with prior convictions. Also arrested at the scene was Muriel D. Whipple, age 30, who was also charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon by a person with prior convictions. Whipple was arrested for an additional charge of misdemeanor criminal possession of a controlled substance. Both parties were released for a future court date in Portville.

In the Town of Burns, Ilija Bauch of Canaseraga NY, was arrested by state police for one felony and one misdemeanor charge. Bauch will face felony Criminal Mischief charges and two counts of misdemeanor Endangering the Welfare of a Child in the town of Burns court.
