Some people get the opportunity to fulfill their dreams, and that I have. Since I was a kid, and could remember I’ve always wanted to follow behind my dad, and grandfather, and being able to serve as company captain, and as Departments first ever 3rd generation Chief. Today is my last official day as Chief of the Wellsville Fire Department. I completed the six years, two of them as second assistant, two at first assistant, and two years as the head chief.
I want to thank my assistant chiefs, company captains, and all of the Wellsville Fire Department who worked under me, for a great term as Chief, and I couldn’t have done it without you. I would also like to thank my family, especially my wife Maranda, kids Jadyn, Lucas, and Garrison who have been huge supporters through this journey, and missed out on time with me.
I wish the new Chiefs the best of luck on their endeavors.
