 Inspirational Photo Contestant Winners Announced at Reception

Craig Braack wins Best of Show, Carol Flurchutz is the runner-up

Sally Doughtery presents Carol Flurschutz with an award certificate for second in place Best of Show

On Saturday, April 1st, a reception was held at the David A Howe Public Library in Wellsville and the winners were announced for the Inspirational Photo Exhibit.  In the Best of Show Category, taking first place was Craig Braack for his photo of Flamingos.  The second-place winner was Carol Flurschutz for her Pelican photo. Third place went to yours truly, Mary Gardner-Ruch, for a photo of a child with a guitar.  Best of Show Honorable Mentions went to Sally Dougherty, Mark Borchert, and Tyler Fuoco. The winners were chosen by judges, Nick Davis, Tom Kailbourne, and Melissa Donovan. Tom and Melissa were present when the winners were announced. 

Chosen by popular vote for overall favorites were 1st place, Regina Young, 2nd place, Sue Johnson, and third place, Sally Dougherty.

In the category of Quotes that best matched the photos, the winners were: 1st place, Regina Young, 2nd place, Kim Toot, and 3rd place Craig Braack. 

Winners in the “made me feel most emotional” category were 1st place, Regina Young, and tied for second place were Karen Borchert and Sally Doughtery.
