Are you struggling to feed your family or a Senior Citizen living on a fixed income?  Perhaps, you are lonely and could benefit from socializing with others during a meal.  No matter who you are or what your circumstances are, you are welcome at the Community Meal sponsored by the Wellsville Community Kitchen and held on Saturday, March 18th at noon at the David A Howe Library.

This month, the meal will be paid for and prepared by the Wellsville Rotary Club. Other organizations and local restaurants are invited to participate in purchasing and preparing food for future Saturdays throughout the year.  Volunteers are welcome to help with serving as well. There is a need for monetary donations too. The Salvation Army accepts checks on behalf of the Community Kitchen.

If you have nonperishable food items that you would like to donate for people to take home, your donations are welcome. Every community meal, bars, wrapped cookies, and treats are offered for people to take or enjoy with a cup of coffee or a glass of lemonade while they wait for the meal.  These types of donations are welcome as well.

The Library has a closet where people can pick out needed clothing items.  As we move into spring, lightweight jackets and sweatshirts are appreciated. Stop by the front desk at the library and ask how you can help.
