Celebrate visual arts with an exhibition of artwork

Mary Gardner-Ruch

An Art Exhibit will be held on Saturday, February 11th, from 2:00 pm to 4m at Grace United Church located at 289 North Main Street in Wellsville. The exhibit celebrates the creativity of the people in the congregation, their families, and their friends.  The works are various oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings.  Also, included in the show are ceramic art, carved wood, and drawings. Children, as well as adults, will be sharing their art. Cookies, punch, tea, and coffee will be served.

The exhibit is the first in the Graceful Lines Program, part of the Graceful Arts celebration at Grace United.  Graceful Arts kicked off in December with Graceful Songs, a two-month celebration of music.

In February and March, Graceful Lines will celebrate visual arts with an exhibition of artwork, a paint and sip night, learning how to take better photos with your cell phone, a collage of self-portraits, rock painting, and a photography contest and exhibit at The David A Howe Public Library.

No matter who you are, or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome at Grace United Church. For more information regarding upcoming events, contact the church secretary at 585-593-5015.
