Giant will close at 6pm Christmas Eve and be Closed Christmas Day
The Kusmierski family is grateful for the first holiday season in Allegany County

It has been a wild year for Giant Food Mart in Wellsville and Cuba. An unexpected sale of the business in the early part of 2022 was big news in Allegany County. The owners of a well-known Buffalo area “Market on the Square” stores have been busy improving both Giant locations and becoming members of both communities.
Nick Kusmierski has been the lead man in Allegany County and speaks for his entire family:
“Thank you Wellsville and Cuba for such a warm welcome this year. From our family to your family, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thank you for your business and for being part of our mission to make Giant Food Mart something the whole community can be proud of.”
From the day that they made the purchase, Nick and his family have been overwhelmed by the heart and soul of Giant: The people who work there:
“Thank you to our employees for a great year and for helping us with all the upgrades, improvements, and new equipment. We realize that the transition has been an additional challenge for everyone and the staff has been unbelieveable. From embracing the new ownership to working with us to make Giant the best store possible, thank you all.”
Nick and his family are excited about 2023 and have more improvements already in the works.
Giant has a great Christmas sale going on right now, but hurry. Both locations will be closing at 6pm on Christmas Eve and will the CLOSED for Christmas Day.
“We want our staff to be able to have the day to enjoy with family. The stores will be open all day on Christmas Eve for your last minute shopping and we have some great specials this week. We will be back open on Monday morning!”
