Immaculate Conception School students paraded to the Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast
By Andrew Harris
Show lots of color and patriotism, students from ICS took meaningful field trip to celebrate Election Day. Kindergarten and first grade waved the flag, wore signs to remind the adults to vote, and made an appearance at the election day pancake breakfast!
My former kindergarten teacher and current ICS kindergarten teacher, M.A Newark was part the plan today and explained:
“ICS works to instill civic duty as a core value in its students. Pictured here are ICS K-1 students as they take to the streets to proclaim, “Go Vote!” & “Go to the Polls!” They concluded their walk by attending the Rotarian’s Election Day breakfast for their lunch!”
