Rotary Pancake breakfast, Trinity Lutheran Sauerkraut Supper
By Andrew Harris
Eating and elections seem to go hand in hand in Wellsville.
This year you can eat great before and after voting. Pancake breakfast will be cooked by the Rotarians at the Grace United Church, 289 North Main Street, starting at 7am. For only $7 dollars for the adults and $3 dollars for the kids, this will be a great way to start the day or even an Election Day tradition!!
I’ve attended several election night dinners where guys like Kato Aldrich worked all day to put on the traditional feast: roast pork, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and of course pie!!!
It was a great way to end the election cycle with fellowship and time to celebrate perhaps our most important civic duty: Voting. No talk of Republican or Democrat or stolen elections, in fact the dinner was marked with a sudden halt to partisan conversation.
You can get tickets for these two great community meals !!
Tickets for the Pancake breakfast can be purchased from any Rotary member or at the David A Howe Library.
For the traditional dinner at the Trinity Lutheran Church, get your tickets by calling the church at 585 593
