NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Allegany County Board of Legislators in the County Legislative Chambers, Room 221, County Office Building, 7 Court Street, Belmont, New York 14813, on October 26, 2022, commencing at 2:00 p.m. in connection with a proposed local law, entitled “A Local Law to Provide Increases in the Compensation of Certain County Officers,” the text of which is as follows:
Section 1. Commencing on January 1, 2023, the annual salary of the incumbents of the following County offices shall be as follows:
Clerk of the Board $92,300
Community Services Director (PT) $50,455
County Administrator $146,400
County Attorney $120,950
County Clerk $ 95,100
County Treasurer $114,950
Election Commissioners (PT) $ 21,000
Employment & Training Director $82,650
Information Technology Director $102,150
Office for the Aging Director $82,000
Personnel Officer $102,150
Planning Director $87,000
Public Defender $114,000
Real Property Tax Director $89,650
Public Health Director $96,250
Public Works Superintendent $133,903
Social Services Commissioner $93,450

Section 2. This Local Law shall take effect on the date of its filing with the Secretary of State upon filing and publication in accordance with Section 27 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, and subject to permissive referendum.
