A tradition spanning three and a half decades returns this weekend in the village of Belmont NY in Allegany County, just off Interstate 86. This weekend of community events is known for the massive all-day yard sales both Friday and Saturday.

On Friday Craig Braack will be presenting a lecture on the history of Belmont, fresh from a presentation in Whitesville while celebrating their bicentennial. the NYS Police will be on hand with rollover demonstration and a car show will be held in the Belmont park circle.

Saturday, the yard sales continue but with much more throughout the day. A 5K walk/run, a road rally/scavenger hunt, a pickleball tourney, a BBQ competition, firefighter demo, and a movie in the park are just a few of the fun to had at the “Daze” this weekend.
