An Alfred Station man is facing multiple criminal charges following an incident in Hornellsville Monday afternoon. Canisteo-based Troopers arrested the 56-year-old man and charged him with second-degree reckless endangerment and criminal mischief for allegedly reckless causing property damage in excess of $250. He was issued an appearance ticket for court and released.

A Belmont man faces several counts following his arrest Monday evening by Cattaraugus County Sheriff deputies. Deputies said they took the 39-year-old who lives on State Route 19 into custody after they responded to I-86 Westbound in the Town of Allegany for a vehicle on the side of the road. The man was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and other traffic violations. The driver was taken to the sheriff’s office, processed and released with an appearance ticket for court. He’ll appear in Allegany court at a later date.
