The well-known Wellsville man died in a fire on March 29, 2022
Family members of the late Thomas E. Allen have announced a gathering to celebrate his life. The day will be spent at Island Park in Friendship NY, not Wellsville. His daughter Elizabeth spoke to the semi-confusing location:
“Yes in Friendship, it’s the land of my people. They call that little park they have with the church and the cannons Island Park as well. Which makes it confusing for people who don’t know that. “
