Early voting is on the rise for primary season 2022. Officials at the Allegany County Board of Elections say as of 3 p.m. Friday, 197 people have voted early, compared with 169 in 2021.
Republicans lead Democrats in early voting. County election officials say Amity leads the pack in early voting, followed by Wellsville and then Scio.
Early voting ends Sunday at 5 p.m. In person primary election day is Tuesday June 28 from 6 a.m. until 9 p,m.
