All arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court

Tuesday June 7, 2022

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested a female, for failure to appear in Court on previous Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th, Possession of Hypodermic Instrument, Criminal use of Drug Paraphernalia and other Vehicle & Traffic charges. She was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. The accused was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $500.00 cash bail or $1,000.00 property bond or $10,000.00 partially secured bond. She is due back in Wellsville Village Court on June 21st at 4:30 pm.

Wednesday June 8, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested Michelle R. Armstrong, age 51 of Bradenton, FL, charging her with Possession of a Forged Instrument 1st (Class C Felony). The charge stems from an incident that took place at the 7 Eleven on South Main Street. Armstrong was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Armstrong was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on June 21st at 4:30 pm.

Friday June 10, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested Andrew B. Collins, age 20 of Scio, charging him with Grand Larceny 4th (Class E Felony) and Falsifying Business Records 2nd. The charge stems from a complaint made by Auto Zone in Wellsville. Collins was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. Collins is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on June 21st at 4:30 pm.

Saturday June 11, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a female, age 23 of Wellsville, charging her with DWI, DWI w/BAC of .08% or more and Following too closely. The charges stem from a motor vehicle accident that took place on North Main Street. She was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released to a third party. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on August 2nd at 4:30 pm.
