68-year old Cuba man arrested for multiple crimes, possessed illegal high capacity weapons

On June 1st, 2022, at approximately 2:30pm, Cuba Police arrested Thomas J. Kazanjian (68) of Cuba. Kazanjian was arrested on charges of harassment 2nd (Violation) and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd (Violation). Kazanjian was processed, placed in front of a Friendship Town Judge and sent to the Allegany County Jail on $5000.00 bail. Kazanjian is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of Law.
On June 2nd, 2022, at approximately 2:00pm, following the execution of a temporary extreme risk protection order, Cuba Police arrested Thomas J. Kazanjian (68) of Cuba. Kazanjian was arrested on charges of criminal contempt – failure to obey a court order (Misdemeanor), criminal possession of a firearm (Felony, 2 counts), criminal possession of a large capacity ammunition feed device (Misdemeanor, 6 counts), criminal possession of a weapon 4th (Misdemeanor) and criminal possession of a weapon 3rd degree (Felony). Kazanjian was processed, placed in front of a Friendship Town Judge and sent to the Allegany County Jail on $15000.00 bail/$30000.00 bond. Kazanjian is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of Law.
