Four Wellsville residents are beginning the holiday weekend in the Allegany County Jail.
State Police say they arrested Austin J. Hunt, 42; Connor E. McCullough, 21; Jeremiah D. Edwards, 29 and John R. Krohn, 27. Each was charged with residential burglary, a class C felony and third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony. McCullough was additionally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th.
Troopers said the charges were filed as a result of a burglary in the Town of Alma, reported December 7, 2021. Arraigned in court, a judge set bail for Hunt at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond. Bail for the others is $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond. State Police say the incident remains under investigation.
