The Wellsville Police Department has updated its warrant list. As of Wednesday, the Department was looking for 90 people. Some are from Wellsville and other Allegany County municipalities.
However, active warrants are also in effect for some residents from PA, CO, Florida, Texas, Delaware, Ohio and Missouri. Many are bench warrants for not showing up for court.
Police Chief Tim O’Grady explains how a warrant can remain active.
When pushed a little further, the Chief mocked the cashless bail system saying it’s unlikely a suspect from Texas would ever be returned to Wellsville:
