Wellsville school budget passes, voters also approve new buses, athletic pavilion, money to David A. Howe Library

Voters in Wellsville approved the $33.4 million budget by a 256-53 vote.

Also approved was the purchase of two, 7-passenger busses not to exceed $300,000 by a 254-55 vote. The proposition to support the David A. Howe Library passed, 239-69.

There will be a new Athletic Pavilion and Capital construction project, not to exceed $2.1 million. That passed, 210-97.

Steve Pettentati was re-elected to the school board with 269 votes and Rex Olsen is back on the board with 240 votes.
