From the Northern Potter School District
Last night, the Northern Potter track and field team competed at the Potter County Meet against Coudersport and Oswayo Valley.
For the girls, Courtney Martin placed second in the 1600 and 3200. Rebecca Martin placed second in javelin. Dakota Lampman placed fourth in the 800 and shot put. Haylee Chapman finished second in the 800 and fourth in the 400 and 200. Jenny Williamson placed third in the shot put and discus.
For the boys, the 4 x 800 relay team of Tanyon Brown, Marc Kicklighter, Joe Lehman, and Nolen Smith placed second. Tanyon won the long jump and finished second in the 200. Marc placed third in the 110 and 300 hurdles. Joe finished second in the 1600 and 800. Nolen won the 300 hurdles and placed second in the 110 hurdles. Ethan Fuhrer placed fourth in the 300 hurdles and third in the triple jump. Malachi Lewis was third in the javelin and discus.
The Panthers are back in action Friday when they travel to Wyalusing for their invitational.
