The Allegany County Industrial Development Agency (IDA) will hold a public hearing on May 4th at 6 p.m. at the David A. Howe Library in Wellsville. The hearing surrounds an application submitted by Arvos Ljunstrom (the former Air Preheater) located on Truax Road.
The company wants to acquire an interest in 1.37 acres of land from a 36-acre parcel. The company also wants to modify about 20,000 square feet of its 253,000 square foot existing facility to a temperature and humidity-controlled environment.
The IDA is currently considering whether to undertake the project and whether some tax exemptions would be offered.
