Allegany Arts Association hosts “slam” at David A Howe 6pm
Do you write poetry or music ? This could be your chance to win some extra cash and polish your “art.” The Joanne Allen and Adam Gayhart Memorial Poetry Slam is open to all original work and happening tomorrow, Thursday April 21st.

What is a poetry slam? “slam poetry, a form of performance poetry that combines the elements of performance, writing, competition, and audience participation. It is performed at events called poetry slams, or simply slams.”
