Locally owned and independent insurance agency has a 60 year history

The “Sun,” is proud and pleased to announce a new partnership with one of the most respected and trusted insurance agencies in Western New York. The Ryan Agency, founded in Almond NY by Lee Ryan in 1962, has evolved into a regional agency and community leader. Much of that growth has occurred since Lee’s son, Jeff Ryan, took the reigns of the family business.
In 2013 the agency expanded to Jasper NY, and in 2017 the Ryan Agency hung its “shingle” in Wellsville on South Main Street.
Since 2017, Jeff and his team have become a member of the Wellsville business community and a supporter of many local civic groups. They have witnessed the deconstruction of the local newspaper first hand and, as Jeff explains, want to be part of rebuilding that community asset:
