Victim of Christmas eve stabbing in Wellsville arrested for multiple violent felonies

Wellsville Village Police report that the man who was stabbed by a Little Genesee woman on December 24th, 2021, has been arrested and incarcerated with a very large bail number. Both stories were John Anderson exclusives that you can read after this WPD report:

Friday March 18, 2022– Wellsville Police arrested Adam M. Morehouse, age 20 of Wellsville, charging him with Strangulation 2nd (Class D Felony), Assault 3rd, Criminal Contempt 1st (Class E Felony), Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Mischief 4th and Unlawful Imprisonment 1st (Class E Felony). The charges stem from an incident that took place on Farnum Street in the Village on March 16th. Morehouse was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. Morehouse was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $25,000.00 cash bail or $50,000.00 property bond or $100,000.00 partially secured bond. Morehouse is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 19th at 4:30 pm.
