Wellsville law enforcement has had a busy March

All arrested are considered innocent until proven guilty in court

Thursday March 3, 2022

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested a female, age 34 of Olean, for failure to appear in Court on previous Petit Larceny charges. She was located by the Allegany County Sheriff’s Department in Allegany County Court and taken into custody. The accused was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. She was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 5th at 4:30 pm.

Sunday March 6, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a female, age 34 of Wellsville, charging her with DWI, Failure to keep right, Improper/No signal, Refusal to take breath test and Assault 3rd. The charges stem from a traffic stop on the Bolivar Road in the Village. She was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on March 22nd at 4:30 pm.

Monday March 7, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a male, age 32 of Angelica, charging him with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd and Disorderly Conduct. The charges stem from an incident that took place on East Dyke Street in January. He was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. The accused was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 19th at 4:30 pm.

Tuesday March 8, 2022

A male, age 29 from Rexville, NY, was arrested for Criminal Contempt in the 2nd degree for disobeying a court mandate. The incident took place on Cameron St. on the 23rd of February. The accused was arraigned in Village Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.

Thursday March 10, 2022

A male, age 20 from Wellsville, was arrested on a warrant for a Violation of Probation. The accused was arraigned in Village Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.

Saturday March 12, 2022

Amanda L. Pratt, age 39 from Wellsville, was arrested for Trespass, Harassment in the 2nd degree, Attempted Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree, Criminal Mischief in the 4th degree, Resisting Arrest and Open Container, following two incidents which occurred on S. Main St. Pratt was processed and issued appearance tickets for Village Court returnable on April 12th.

Monday March 14, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a female, age 32 of Wellsville, charging her with Petit Larceny. The charge stems from an incident that took place on Jefferson Street in February. She was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released. The accused was due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on March 15th at 4:30 pm.

Tuesday March 15, 2022

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested a male, age 36 of Andover, for failure to appear in Court on a previous AUO 3rd and other Vehicle & Traffic charges. The accused was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. He was fined and released.

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested a male, age 38 of Wellsville, for failure to appear in Court on a previous Petit Larceny charge. The accused was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson and released.

Wellsville Police arrested a female, age 30 of Wellsville, charging her with Harassment 2nd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on East Fassett Street in February. She was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. The accused was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.

Wednesday March 16, 2022

Wellsville Police arrested a female, age 45 of Wellsville, charging her with Harassment 2nd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on West State Street on March 14th. She was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Justice Thompson. The accused was released and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on May 17th at 4:30 pm.
