For this National Take Your Child to the Library Day, we will have a BUNCH of fun activities for kids and families to enjoy.
We’ll start the day with a magic show by the talented Cris Johnson in his “I Love Reading” show in the Auditorium at 10:30am. After the show we will have three fun activities ready to go upstairs.
First is our Read with a Rescue. Partnering with the SPCA Serving Allegany County. This program allows children 15 minute blocks to read with some snuggly animals.
We will also have Pictures with Paddington Bear! Join us in the picture book room for Paddington pictures, crafts and snacks!
Lastly, we want YOUR help naming our new library pet! Meet the special critter and submit your favorite name suggestion!
