Olean and Amity-based troopers made multiple arrests while assisting with dozens of motor vehicle accidents

Troopers charged Tristin L. Weidman, 25, of Angelica on Tuesday with felony promoting a sexual performance by a child. Weidman was arraigned and released to a third party.

Troopers charged a Hume man, 21, with two counts of misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal mischief on Tuesday.

Troopers charged Andrew S. Nelson, 29, of Allegany with felony second-degree possession of a forged instrument on Tuesday for an incident on Jan. 11. He was also charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was issued an appearance ticket.

Troopers charged a Belfast man, 32, with misdemeanor petit larceny on Thursday for an incident in Amity.

Troopers charged Samantha L. Dahill, 30, of Belfast with acting in a manner injurious to a child on Thursday for an alleged incident from February of 2020. She was issued an appearance ticket.

Troopers charged Shaine D. Cox, 30, of Belfast with acting in a manner injurious to a child on Thursday and issued an appearance ticket.

Troopers charged Ryan M. McDonald, 32, of Genesee on Friday with felony illegal entry with the intent of burglary and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property for an alleged incident in the town of Bolivar in October of 2021. McDonald was arraigned and released.
