The word COLD has been uttered by most people in Western New York as they woke up Saturday morning. Pipes were frozen, vehicles wouldn’t start, and anyone venturing outside should be considered brave, or crazy. Marlee Cannon reported -15F at 5:30am on Amity Lake.

Our friend in Angelica, Meredith Chilson reported that even her animals were not that crazy, “No wonder the dogs weren’t interested in a morning walk.” She also posted the only non-digital thermostat reading I could find.

In Whitesville, locally famous forger Seth Boehnke had only one word, “Ugh.”
Pipes froze? Call Tim Shea now, you aren’t alone!
Not far from Meredith, Gwen Cooper had one thing to say when she snapped this picture of her dashboard, “A good day to head to Florida 😎
Just down the hill, local legend Ron Taylor sent this, “8 a.m see dash reading at Elm Valley  on my way to Museum at Andover.
Minus 21 degrees…be careful out there”
