WELLSVILLE, NY (December 28, 2021) – As of December 5, the minimum wage at Jones Memorial Hospital was been raised to $15 an hour.

“The original plan was to raise the minimum wage next spring,” explained Kristopher Green, HR Director at Jones. “But doing it now is an opportunity to thank our staff and recognize all they have done for our patients. Throughout the pandemic, and especially during this most recent surge, our team has routinely demonstrated their dedication to taking care of our patients.”

Jones Memorial is committed in providing fair and competitive wages, Mr. Green noted. “Our most valuable resource is our people,” he said. “By making this significant investment in the workforce, we are reaffirming our responsibility to retaining a dedicated and talented workforce while also strengthening the Hospital’s position as an Employer of Choice.”

The first hospital-wide job fair, Join the Jones, will be held from 11 am to 5 pm on Friday, February 4th at the Wellsville American Legion, 23 Jefferson Street in Wellsville. During the job fair, hiring managers will be conducting immediate interviews to fill open positions in Nursing, Laboratory, Rehab, Medical Imaging, Environmental Services, Practice Management, Food and Nutrition, Facilities Services, and Admissions.  “If you are looking for a career in caring for your family, friends, and neighbors, please come see what Jones Memorial has to offer,” Mr. Green added.

Walk-ins are welcome or you can register by calling (585) 596-4019. Door prizes will be awarded and snacks will be available.
