Wellsville Sun columnist makes this site a little brighter and smarter

By Andrew Harris

If you are a regular reader of this site, you’ve probably read some of Chuck’s “Wramblings.” Every week, he gives readers something real to ruminate over, mixed with wit and poetry. You can agree with him or not, but you can’t ignore that he makes you think. His writing can be so packed full of nuance and “hidden gems,” that I find myself having to re-read many of his columns.

Today Wiser, as I have referred to him for over a decade, is celebrating a birthday, he’s about 65 I’d guess. One of the real joys about Wiser is that his brain can easily return to almost any age of his life, making him somewhat timeless as a writer. That gift clearly brings him much joy and it is a real pleasure to be able to bring that joy to our readers.

So I’m writing Wiser a special birthday note because I really appreciate him and his intellectual stature, like many of his readers. To celebrate lets look at some of the best work Wiser has placed on these pages. If you know Chuck, or just read his wramblings, tell him Happy Birthday and Thank You for sharing the wit and wisdom!
