Santa has January to sleep.
After two engagements on Friday, Santa and Mrs. Claus came to Scio in style on Friday night to light the community trees on the library lawn.
With an escort from the fire department and riding the Christmas Train, they arrived to a cheer from kids and parents.
After lighting the trees with “Christmas Magic,” they sat down and talked to kids and handed out candy canes and small gifts.
Meanwhile, kids and families had a chance to ride around town in the train.
