Allegany County Legislative Committee Meetings For Wednesday October 20th

Four Committees will meet tomorrow, Wednesday October 20th. Below you can read overviews and agendas. Meeting minutes and highlights will be provided later this week.

Resource Management will convene at 1pm to hear reports from department heads. Cornell Cooperative Extension announces their annual meeting details.

The Budget Committee will meet tomorrow and be presented various spreadsheets by county Treasurer Terri Ross. An item of interest that will need some clarification is the sudden drop in sales tax revenue, when compared to 2020. View those reports below:

The committee that pays the bills, the Ways and Means Committee, meets to discuss and vote on several key measures. Mortgage tax payments to municipalities are detailed as well as a correction to the property tax roles after a clerical error. The committee will also address the funding needed for the Friendship DPW building.
