Village of Wellsville Board Meeting Tonight, Monday 7/26 at 6pm

Mayor Shayler and the Village Board will meet tonight for the agenda posted below. Longtime “Clerk of the Court,” Sammy Gilkey is retiring and will be honored for her service to the village. The Wellsville Fire Department will present two items for approval, and the Department of Public Works will address infrastructure issues on West State Street.

VISITORS:  Bill Davis, MRB (re: WWTP project)

MAYOR’S BUSINESS:

            1.         Recognize Sammy Gilkey for her 21.5 years of service as Village Court Clerk.

TRUSTEES’ BUSINESS:

PEARSON:

  1. Request acceptance and approval of the vouchers as listed in the Abstract of Vouchers dated July 26, 2021.

MONROE:

  1. Request acceptance and approval of the Application for Membership to Grant Duke Hose Co. #1 from Corey McAbier, WFD Tag# 045, who resides at 36 Witter Avenue, Wellsville.  The application has been approved by Fire Chief Fleischman.
  • Request acceptance and approval the Application for a Special Event Permit for Dyke Street Engine Co. #2 Cornhole Tournament to be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021.  The location is at the Dyke Street fire station at 89 E. Hanover Street, beginning at 11:00 am.
