The End of The Oramel Volunteer Fire Department?

The Oramel Volunteer Fire Department could possibly go away. According to a legal notice, a public hearing will be held at the Houghton Fire Department at 9750 State Route 19 at 6 p.m. on August 4th concerning the question of continuing or permanently suspending the operations of the Oramel Volunteer Fire company. A hearing officer has been appointed by the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Caneadea Fire District. Comments will be limited to five minutes.
