Bonded Pair of Anatolian Shepherds Need a Special Forever Home

Share:

Bailey & Molly are Anatolian Shepherds, who are 4.5 years old. tThey are very large dogs at around 125 lbs. each. Both are very affectionate and LOVE attention, they enjoy being brushed and love playing together. Both are gentle giants and docile…and are busy at the shelter just lounging around on their beds or hanging out in the play yard. They would not do well with cats or small prey…or small children as they would want to ‘herd’ them.

They were turned into a southern shelter to be euthanized, because they were not working out to be farm ‘working dogs’ – they apparently failed at being livestock guardians. These dogs act like big teddy bears and would be happy to be inside house dogs being very large couch potatoes! They would need access to a large fenced in yard to run around and play…living in the country would be ideal.

Bailey & Molly are a bonded pair and are brother and sister, so they will need to be adopted together.”
