“Gully Washer” Swells Streams, Causes Large Sewage Release

A pump station was to blame for approximately 10,000 gallons of raw sewage spilling into the Genesee River at 6:30am on June 4th. The overflow occurred at the Riverwalk Plaza, the second such accidental/rain related, discharge in recent months.
