Trio of New Scholarships Will Serve Allegany County Students

The Millicent Friendly Graduate Student Scholarship

Catherine Schuyler Chapter NYS DAR Scholarship

Our very active and community-minded local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution has established a scholarship to support a student pursuing study in history, museum studies, or a related field. Our DAR chapter was established in 1897 and serves Allegany, Steuben, and Cattaraugus counties.

Cuba Council of Churches Scholarship

The Cuba Council of Churches recently moved its scholarship program to ACAF. This award will benefit a Cuba-Rushford Central School senior who is active in his/her church and demonstrates an active and growing Christian life and faith.

Stay tuned for more detailed press releases on these new programs. In the meantime, if you would like to learn more about how you can set up a fund to provide a scholarship, or annual grant support to your favorite local non-profit, contact ACAF at or 585-296-5616.
