Owners of the “Stilly”, a relatively new family style restaurant and bar, have announced that the establishment will close on May 23rd. The owners, Dave and Anna Drury, revamped the old Pizza Hut and installed a classic ‘Americana’ menu with pizza, sandwiches, Philly cheese-steaks, with a full bar to compliment.
A recent conversation with Dave Drury pointed to the pressures of operating a food service establishment during a pandemic. Almost every restaurant in the nation has dealt with increased regulations, an acute labor shortage, and rising costs. We wish the Drury’s good luck and hope that Stillwater will be re-opened with a new operator or repurposed for an all new business.
